I think it is a good shot. I wish you had been on the far side and were shooting at them coming towards you. Maybe you would have felt bad or guilty but you could have asked for permission to take their picture if they seemed to object. I don't know why people take the backs of other people intead of their fronts.

I think for street photography most of the times no need to ask permission to get candid moments. I don’t like when someone poses for me. I becomes only portrait.
