I have moved to USA ten years ago. I learned the concept of Black Friday here. For me, Black Friday is chaotic, puzzling and extraordinary dark event.
I still don’t get the point. It is sort of tsunami of human bodies. I’m always fascinating with human forms and their face expressions . With my photos I tried to capture emotional intensity of the Black Friday.
Most of faces and body language have deep concern in a way almost sorrow.
As the name of this special Friday, my images are overpowered with black shadows.
I believe using chiaroscuro produces feeling of the drama and provoke emotional response of viewers.

The last image. The woman looking at the camera while everyone looks away from both the sun and camera is interesting.
